ESCONDIDO COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION MEETING
On Wednesday, November 13, 2013, the Community Services Commission will conduct a meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers at 201 North Broadway.
 
In addition to the Park Improvement Projects Update, New Business agenda items include:
 
· Review an unsolicited proposal and business plan to build and operate a BMX track in Escondido’s Kit Carson Park or in another location
· Request to rename Kit Carson Park’s “Sand Lake” to “Eagle Scout Lake”
· Review of the James Stone Pool Audit
· Kit Carson Park Adult Softball Complex Concession Update
· Recreation Services Update
· Older Adult Services Update

Aaron Jasinski: Hearasee
ArtHatch and Distinction Gallery are pleased to announce the solo exhibition of Washington based artist Aaron Jasinski entitled “Hearasee”.  Aaron celebrates the act of creating and listening to music in this collection of paintings.  Using surreal humor, contrast, color, and texture he seeks to evoke the expression and experience of sounds. The exhibition will run from June 11 through July 2, 2016. The opening reception with the artist, live music, open studios, Stone Beer, and BK Cellars wine will be on Saturday June 11, from 6-10pm. ArtHatch is a 7,000 square foot building which houses the front gallery: exhibitions changing monthly, "The Alley," featuring new and previous works from over 75 artists, the teen room featuring artwork by 15+ teen artists, 14 artist studios, ranging in size from 150 to 800 square feet, featuring the work of over 28 local artists, and "The Lounge", containing 8 walls featuring local artists. The front gallery features contemporary and cutting edge artwork.
